FLATTRACK
-
Originally from North America Flattrack has a long history of over 100 years and is considered the oldest, longest running and most traditional motorcycle racing series.
-
Driving is traditionally counter-clockwise on oval racetracks with of different track lengths and unpaved surfaces.
-
Classically, the flat track uses relatively close-to-production motorcycles whose chassis are adapted and weights are minimized. Front brakes are forbidden and the Rim size is fixed (in most classes) at 19 inches. Due to these adjustments, a unique riding style is required.
-
The most successful and well-known manufacturers in the history of Flattrack are Harley Davidson, Yamaha, Indian and Honda.
-
Our Flattrackers are based on a Yamaha XS400 2A2.
THE A.L.F. MOTORSPORT TEAM
We are the Flintbrothers. From an early age we learn from and with each other, improve our driving technique and hone our mechanical skills. That's why we are proud to take part in Flattrack and Classic Enduro events with our converted motorcycles and to achieve success together. The fun of driving and screwing, as well as the motivation to always get faster and better together have always been our motivation.
AXEL FLINT
My name is Axel Flint, I'm 25 years old and I'm studying Industrial Engineering in Hamburg. Ever since I learned to ride motorbikes on a Yamaha DT50M at the age of 10, I have been enthusiastic about many facets of two-wheeled sports. This was accompanied by an interest in the technical background, which ranges from repairing my motorcycles to maintaining them.
LUKAS FLINT
I'm Lukas Flint, I'm 28 years old and I'm studying vehicle construction in Hamburg. I learned how to ride motocycles in my childhood on a Yamaha DT175MX and since then not only the riding, but also especially the technical aspects aroused my interest. Maintaining and repairing my motorcycles were soon followed by smaller and larger modifications. The over many years acquired knowledge and skill, together with an amount of improvisation has helped us a number of times.
